Sabine – BIO
X-Pert Pole Fitness Instructor
(Certified at Crunch in NYC)
Sabine discovered Pole Fitness about three years ago when she was injured with a stress fracture in her foot. She turned her disadvantageous situation “upside down”: Instead of suffering from her injury, she decided to benefit from it and started training in the air – with Pole Fitness.
From the very beginning she was inspired by this sport, and all the challenges it has to offer. Sabine believes that Pole Fitness is a unique fusion of sport and art, which combines many skills at the same time: dance, gymnastics, flexibility, coordination and stamina – which all culminate into pure fun!
Strong Dance Background
At the age of 4 Sabine started with classical ballet training and gymnastics and has won National and International championships. She trained in England, France, Germany and in the U.S. and studied classical ballet, modern, jazz, theatre dance and aerial dance. She has performed in numerous dance and musical theatre shows. Two year ago Sabine appeared on National T.V. as a Pole Fitness “mom”, inspiring other women with children to keep their bodies fit and in shape, and to enjoy their femininity.
Helping to boost women’s self-esteem
In spring 2011 she became an X-Pert Pole Fitness Instructor and got certified at Crunch in NYC. Since then she has been utilizing her dance experience to teach women of different ages and backgrounds. In her classes she provides a supportive, fun and encouraging environment. She believes that Pole Dance helps to connected with your body and that it is a unique and empowering way to boost every women’s self-esteem.
International Workshops and Pole Dance Video Production
This summer Sabine was teaching pole workshops in Germany and produced her first pole video “Pole @ Places” with the acknowledged videographer Wolf Busch. The video can be seen online on Vimeo and You Tube.
In Fall Sabine won 1st place in the Gold C Devision, when she was competing at her first ever Pole Dance Championship “SuperShag” in Boston.
